Have a Merry Crabby Christmas



We give thanks to the crabbers...

at Christmas time...

They work so hard...

for nary a dime...


They go out late...

Plant their traps...

They load ‘em up...

With chicken scraps...


Then they wait...

For time to elapse...

Will they catch a haul...

Well, perhaps...


We celebrate...

When their haul is good...

They feed us well...

And thank them we should...


So hug a crabber...

When they return to shore...

This Christmas season...

And ever more...
